Hello everyone! Welcome to Blue Cupcake, a new line of diabetes-inspired handmade letterpress greeting cards to celebrate people living with diabetes and those who support them.

My name is Allison Nimlos and I’ve had type 1 diabetes for almost 19 years. I was inspired to create Blue Cupcake greeting cards after receiving many diaversary (diagnosis anniversary) cards from my parents and husband. The cards never quite “fit” perfectly, because they were usually wedding anniversary cards! I thought, “Why not create a line of cards just for people with diabetes?” Not only do we show our love and appreciate to PWDs, but the proceeds from the cards also benefits diabetes organizations. So it’s a win-win for everybody!

With the help of my friend, Erica Schoonmaker, who also has type 1 diabetes, we created three lines of greeting cards. We are very excited to launch and to hear what everyone thinks!
